Mexico Based Writer, Mentor and Editor
I love the written word, I always have. Communicating is my passion, building bridges through words to bring stories to life. The challenge of finding just the right words to describe an experience, a feeling, an emotion is what makes me tick. I love to take ideas and solidify them in the written word.
My work has been published by BBC Travel, Condé Nast Traveler, CNN, The Independent and AFAR among others. As of September 2022, I no longer take commissions.
My first love is fiction and I am currently working on my third novel while querying agents with my second, a contemporary novel set in Mexico City in 2017, the year we had the huge earthquake.
I delight in working as a writing mentor for new and established writers. I feel passionate about using my more than decade-long experience to provide support for others who love to write.
I am also a developmental editor for works of fiction and creative non-fiction.
I share my reflections on writing and the writing life in my monthly newsletter Write As You Are.
